Scans and Photos Only

This page is a resource for scans and photos of a specific game. Review and history will be in another post.

I’ll post a few interesting details about the game here, with a full review coming later. This is the only mahjong game I’m aware of that supports the GameBoy Printer, also known as the Pocket Printer in Japan. It was released by King Records, who published the soundtracks and games for all of Gainax’s properties at the time. They also released a mahjong game based on Nadesico. As you progress through the game you unlock tiles that make up illustrations of Rei, Asuka, and Kaworu which, when completed, can be printed using the GameBoy Printer.

Another notable part of the game is the soundtrack. It’s absolutely amazing how they recreated the show’s original soundtrack on the GameBoy Color.
